Having a dynamic team can mean shuffling workstations, building offices, and re-using space. The existing Bell Canada office space was underutilized. Square Vis Architects proposed maximum use of the existing lease space instead of taking on a new lease. New agile furniture was proposed to allow for a higher occupancy on the floor. In addition, smaller meeting rooms were provided instead of a large conference room. The construction was to occur during the time the office was occupied. A hoarding and phasing approach for construction was adopted to minimize disruptions during working hours. This Bell Canada office included a scrum/ huddle collaboration area and a new lunchroom. We worked closely with the staff and the team both on-site and off-site, to ensure the optimum layout that enhanced their workflow and usability of the space.
