Angular condos at Broadview is a boutique midrise that oozes modern style with unique, comfortable suites. The building at the corner of Dupont and Mortimer staggers from the street with open terraces and metal panel shields. The midrise will be composed of commercial and residential units and will feature amenities, such as open terraces, a communal kitchen, and a rooftop terrace. Square Vis Architects worked to develop the project from its initial planning through to site plan approval and construction drawings. Angular condors development has several sustainable and energy-efficient features, which make the project better performing than a building built to code. It starts with an efficient building envelope: highly insulated walls and high-performance windows ensure lower heating use and superior thermal comfort for the residents. In the suites, fresh air is delivered through energy recovery ventilators with a high level of recovery effectiveness. Centrally, heating and cooling are provided with efficient equipment, including condensing boilers for heating and domestic hot water.
